The students of the public Vocational Training School (IEK) of Salamina, department of Baking & Pastry, and their professor Mr A. Kritsantonis visited Greek Baking School and followed a bread-making session on 25 May 2016. Loulis Mills' technical advisor showed them various baked goods and shared some trade secrets!
Students had the opportunity to visit the Loulis Mills facilities, and learn about milling of cereals and flour production. They also toured the Loulis Museum, where they learned about the "wheat-flour-bread" chain, the history of bread from ancient times to date, the traditions and customs associated with bread, as well as the nutritional value of bread as the most valuable food for man.
