Kostis Kostakis
Kostis Kostakis was born in 1981 at Crete. He graduated from the General Lyceum of Ierapetra and then attended TEI of Crete, at the Accounting Department. In 2004, he graduated from the School of Tourism Professions of Anavyssos, specialized in Culinary Arts, and practiced at the Titania Hotel in Athens and at Rodos Palace. He continued his education at the Chef d'Oeuvre School where he attended bakery classes, and through seminars he enriched his knowledge on pastry, traditional pies and bakery.
He worked in various restaurants, with important stations in his career in Calypso, at the Elounda Peninsula hotel, formating the menu and worked also at the Canto restaurants in Glyfada and MOMA in Monastiraki.
He inspired and created the Ala Greck shop, with handmade traditional products from all over Greece, and in November 2017 he publishedhis first book, by Psychogios, titled "Pies by Hand" A la Grek.
