Josep Pascual

Josep Pascual was born in Barcelona in 1961. He is a world known baker and pastry chef while he is operating as a consultant in bakeries and pastry shops globally.

He is a member of the jury committee of world bakery championship while he is also the head coach of national bakers and pastry chefs team of Spain.

He has been travelling worldwide teaching the famous "Pascual Method" which includes slow maturation breads and amazing decorations. He has been teaching to Portugal, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Israel, Finland, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Chile, India and others.

Among his recognitions are:

  • First prize and captain of the Spanish national team in Championship in Lille 2008, France.
  • First prize in World Championship of Bakery in SIGEP, Rimini 2006, Italy
  • First prize as best exposition of traditional products of bakery and pastry in SIGEP Bread Cup, Rimini 2007, Italy
  • First prize in Spanish Championship of Bakery Schools
  • Third prize in SIGEP Bread Cup in Rimini 2009, Italy
