Cyril Veniat
Cyril Veniat was born in Denain, in the north of France, in 1978. At the age of six he had already decided to become a pastry chef and at the age of 14 he started his studies in pastry and chocolate, for 7 years through apprenticeships in companies and schools. After passing through various French companies, he decided at the age of 27 to go to Japan to teach pastry at the Le Cordon Bleu Japan Kobe School, under the direction of Bruno Lederf MOF. In 2013 he became the technical director of Cordon Bleu Kobe. In 2014, he returned to France as a teacher at the Gastronomicom International School, and at the same time he was a consultant in various countries, such as China, Japan & Spain. In 2016, he left for China and became the Head teacher and Executive Chef for Changsha and Hangzhou Belle Vie School.
He has won the Japan Cake Show Competition, in 2011, in the sugar art category, along with a job price. In the France Bakery Cup in 2017, in the category Artistic piece, he won the second place. He is part of the elite of French bakers while having an MOF 2018 diploma.
